Faith and Courage In Life

In life there are people that will hurt us and cause us pain,
but we must learn to forgive and forget and not hold grudges.

In life there are mistakes we will make,
but we must learn from our wrongs and grow from them.

In life there are regrets we will have to live with,
but we must learn to leave the past behind and realize it is something we can’t change.

In life there are people we will loose forever and can’t have back,
but we must learn to let go and move on.

In life there are going to be obstacles that will cause interference,

but we must learn to fight them with the courage from within.

வயலும் வாழ்வும்

மனிதன் சிந்திக்கத் தொடங்கியதால் விளைந்தது நன்மையா? தீமையா?

மனிதன் ஆக்கத்திற்கு கண்டு பிடித்ததை விட அழிவுக்கு கண்டுபிடித்தது தான் அதிகம். ஆக்கத்திற்கு கண்டு பிடித்ததை அழிவுக்கு பய்ன்படுத்தவும் கற்று கொடுத்தது அவனது அறிவு. விஞ்ஞானம் என்ற பெயரில் மனிதன் சோம்பேரியாக மற்றப்பட்டிருக்கிறான்.

இத்தகைய விஞ்ஞானம் இன்று நம் இந்தியாவை சோற்றுக்கு அந்நியனிடம் கையேந்த வைத்துள்ளது. உணவுப் பொருட்கள் ஏற்றுமதியான காலம் போய் இன்று இறக்குமதி செய்யும் நிலைக்கு தள்ளப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம்.

விளை நிலங்கள் அடுக்குமாடி குடியிருப்புகளாக்கப் பட்டு விட்டன. இன்று சென்னையில் வாழும் பலரது கனவு சென்னையில் ஒரு வீடு. அது 18 லகரமானாலும் சரி 50 லகரமானாலும் சரி. தன் சந்ததி தங்குவதற்கு வீடு என யோசிக்கிற எவரும் பிற்கால சந்ததியின் உணவுக்கு என்ன வழி என யோசிப்பதில்லை.

நமது அரசாங்கமும் பாலம் கட்டுவதிலும் மற்ற துறைகளிலும் காட்டும் அக்கரையை விவசாயத்தில் காட்டுவதில்லை. விளைவு இன்று விலையேற்றம். 1 கிலோ சர்க்கரை இன்று 35 ரூபாய், வெங்காயம் 50-ஐ நெருங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது. காரணம் குறைவான விளைச்சலும், விளையுமிடத்தின் தூரமும்.

இத்தகைய நிலைக்கு காரணம் யார்? என் நண்பனை கேட்டேன். அவன் சொன்னான், நமது அரசாங்கம் தான் என்று. அது எந்த அளவுக்கு உண்மை என யோசித்தால் 10% த்திற்கும் குறைவுதான்.

இந்த நிலைக்கு 90% காரணம் நாம் தான். நம்மை போன்றவர்கள் எப்படி பணம் சேர்ப்பது என்பதை மட்டும் தான் யோசிக்கிறோம். தேவையானது கிடைத்தாலும் இன்னும் கிடைக்குமா என தேடுகிறோம். நம்மில் எத்தனை பேருக்கு விவசாயம் பற்றி “அ…ஆ” தெரியும்? நமக்கே இப்படி என்றால் நம் சந்ததி?

இந்த நிலை தொடர்ந்தால் நிச்சயம் இந்தியாவில் மனிதனால் வாழ முடியாது என்ற நிலை நிச்சயம் வரும். என்னுடைய ஆசை என்னவென்றால் கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக பணம் சேர்த்து சென்னையில் வீடு வாங்காமல், எனது சொந்த ஊரான சிவகாசி அருகில் சிறிது விளை நிலம் வாங்கி விவசாயம் செய்து கற்க வேண்டும். நிச்சயம் இதை செய்ய வேண்டும் என்றிருக்கிறேன்.
