Only you – Friend

With you, it’s all about

voiceless communication-

always knowing exactly what to say,

but never actually having to say it.

When no one seems to be listening,

you hear.

When I hurt but don’t show it,

you know.

When I turn away to hide my tears,

you see.

When I feel like I can’t get through to anyone,

you understand.

Your eyes glow just for me,

and I know you’re proud.

You flash your magical, healing smile my way,

and I know everything will be all right.

You know everything there is to know about me.

You know what worries me,

what keeps me up at night,

and what shames me so badly

that I can’t share it with anyone.

Most importantly, though,

none of those things bother you.

You’ve restored my faith in people

and proved that there is a thing

called true friendship.

Faith and Courage In Life

In life there are people that will hurt us and cause us pain,
but we must learn to forgive and forget and not hold grudges.

In life there are mistakes we will make,
but we must learn from our wrongs and grow from them.

In life there are regrets we will have to live with,
but we must learn to leave the past behind and realize it is something we can’t change.

In life there are people we will loose forever and can’t have back,
but we must learn to let go and move on.

In life there are going to be obstacles that will cause interference,
but we must learn to overcome these challenges and grow stronger.

In life there are fears that will hold us back from what we want,
but we must learn to fight them with the courage from within.

God holds our lives in his hands. He holds the key to our future.
Only he knows our fate.

He see’s everything and knows everything.
Everything in life really does happen for a reason: “God’s Reason”.

Howdy 2015!

stock-vector-happy-new-year-with-confetti-vector-paper-illustration-224950600 2014, an year that I can not forget for at least next few years. An year filled with fun, love, excitement and so many mixed feelings.

So many highlights which includes an international trip for the first time. Moving back to where I have started in the year 1999.

This year has been a good life learning year and I would like to thank all my teachers who taught me how to handle situations from different perspective.

I’m grateful to god for giving me all strength to face whatever has been given to me during 2014.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Now standing at the end of the year, I wish 2015 to be as great as 2014. I wish nothing more now for I believe that the best is already here. My someday, one day, is here. So cheers to a fantastic 2014 and hello 2015…

Finding my way to Happiness…

Yes, It has been so much of negative, negativity and sadness. Lets find out how to find happiness and where. Being happy isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. I’m not saying happy people don’t get sad, they do. Yet, the sadness passes on. Their happy lenses invariably take over and cast new visions in front of them, making them content again, showing them the potential in the situation they are in and themselves.

1. Let go of negativity in your life. Lose the people that don’t want to see you happy, the ones who are always bringing everyone else down in order to make themselves feel better.

2. Look for things to be grateful for. Don’t like the shirt you wore to work today? The guy in the street would give anything to have it since the one he’s wearing is filthy and riddled with holes because he doesn’t have a closet to keep his clothes in.

3. Appreciate people. You live your life in constant contact with society, look for the good in the each individual you meet.

4. When you’re down, acknowledge it. And move on. Don’t let the “down” keep you down for long.

5. See down times as opportunities for growth.

So the moral is : Do what you have to do to find happiness. And happiness follow you. 🙂

Empty Hands

I do not have any memory of the time I was born but people told me later in life that my hands were empty and I did not have any clothing on my body, I did not have any friends nor did I have a bank balance. I was also told that people around the house were very happy while I was crying to have landed in this world not knowing what I was getting into. I still do not know why I was crying but as I grew I started to realize that may be it was because I was too simple and small in relation to the complex world I was being put into. The fear, the anxiety and the complexity might have taken a toll on me at that time..may be..may be not.

Caught between the science of birth and magical power of the heavenly God..is there any explanation to my entry into this complex world? Growing up in the midst of poverty all around taught me some very valuable lessons early in life. First that life has never been fair to all. If you lead a good life you must be blessed to be living that way. I realized that there were so many people in this world who are better than me but I still lead a better life than them. What kind of fairness was this? Is this because I was born to be better than others or was it an accident in the cycle of life and death. This question still haunts me each day as I lead my life towards the final destination. Secondly, I realized that people are generally nice; it is our own imaginations about other people that make us a very small person. Now I have started understanding why I was crying when I was born.

Today, we live in a world that has lost all humanity; the difference between being human and being an animal has become so small. We trust our animal pets more than we can trust our fellow humans. Probably we believe that since animals don’t have the power to think, may be ..may be they will not hurt us. This is the point that we have reached in our human existence. We have become so greedy of the material possessions that we are willing to close our eyes to what is happening to humanity as a whole. We are today able to justify all our wrong actions as those necessary for living in this world. Money has become the driving force for everything that we do. We have lost our sense of proportion and have lost the fear of God (if there is one). May be in our quest for a grand material life we have given up on God and even at times have tried to buy him out. The question that always bothers me is; how much money is enough for each of us? We are giving up on our value and ethics for that additional money that we can steal from other people. This only makes some better off at the cost of some becoming worse off. Money has taken the form of piece of bread that is thrown to the dogs on the street and each of them wants to have all of it ending up in bitter fight. Is our society moving in that direction and can we do something about it is big question mark.

Standing on the sidelines and watching the Nation be robbed of its wealth each day by the so called leaders is a reality for all of us and that is why I say that as a society we have lost our sense of balance. Nothing that we will acquire in this world is going to go with us and for sure it will be left behind. We will go back the way we came with empty hands.

Dear Sorrow……

What did I do with you…?

Why don’t you find another home, another friend…?

Like a bird by the window pane,

You keep visiting me
again & again…

Wonder, what is that
you’re looking for…

Someone to talk to,
with someone just like you…?

Hello 2014!

ImageIt has been a year of mourning, smiling, crying, laughing, travelling, losing, and redeeming. But what I loved most about this year was that I gained a lot despite losing much.

A change of perspective has indeed helped a lot.

So many hugs and smiles have been shared and many thank yous’ and you’re welcomes have been greeted. And there’s more to come.

More than the feeling of being sad for the things, people and chances that slipped my fingers, I have no words for the things I should be thankful for.

Experiences moulded me into what I am now. With every backward step I take, I move two steps forward. And with every step, I ask for help and thank God for everything.

I wish nothing more now for I believe that the best is yet to come. There’s no need to rush.

My someday, one day, will also come. So cheers to a beautiful and helpful 2013.

Hello, 2014!
